Deleting your account

Open The Circle, go to Settings, and tap "Delete my account" at the bottom. It asks you to confirm, and then your account is deleted straight away.

Write to hello@intothecircle.org from the email address or phone number on your account, and say you would like your account deleted. We will delete it and reply to confirm, normally within two working days.

Your account, your profile, your questionnaire answers, your photographs, your photo ID if you sent one, your messages and anything you attached to them.

Deleting is immediate and cannot be undone. If you want to come back later you can sign up again, but nothing from before is kept.

A report somebody else made about conduct is kept with your name removed, so that a complaint does not disappear when the person it was about leaves.

Server logs and backups are not edited by hand. They age out on their own schedule.
